Our Lord is truly amazing and Bryan has been blessed to watch Him work in his life and family for many years. After graduating from Citadel Bible College in 1986, Bryan taught in Christian schools for three years; one in Kansas City and two in Lewistown, PA. Sensing God directing him away from teaching he became an Air Traffic Controller with the Federal Aviation Administration in 1989, working at the Kansas City Center in Olathe. Bryan worked in that capacity for 23 years until he retired from federal service in December of 2012. He learned many valuable lessons as he saw God move in his life as well as his family’s during those years. In 1994 the Neals began attending Countryside and quickly joined the church and got involved. Bryan taught Adult Sunday School, led a small group and served as a deacon for 2 terms. At the end of his second term as a deacon he was approached by leadership and asked to consider serving as a pastor at Countryside. He agreed, the Lord confirmed and Bryan began serving in 2004. He loves the opportunities and challenges of Pastoral ministry. Bryan’s family is very important to him and consists of his wife Kathy, daughters Emilie, Amie and Abigail, sons-in-law Christopher and Toby and his grandson Caden.
