Sunday School

Sunday School is a time where we gather in smaller groups for Biblical teaching. Our classes take place during each service to allow people to attend one service and then attend Sunday School during the opposite service.

Sunday Worship

Our Sunday morning services consist of corporate worship through music, the public reading of Scripture, and verse-by-verse exposition from God’s Word. Children are invited to participate in Children’s Hour of Worship (CHOW).

Small Groups

We meet regularly in home-based groups “to stir up one another to love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24). These are the context in which the body of Christ can practically care for one another.

Our Vision

Glorify God by participating in His mission of making disciples of all nations

We are guided by the Great Commission given in Matthew 28:16-20. We seek to be biblical in all we do, view people as a priority, use ministries to mature believers and evangelize the lost, and reproduce Christlike disciples, spiritual leaders, and biblical churches.

The Kingdom of God Over Every Kingdom of Man

Anna’s Baby Shower

The Countryside Women’s Ministry invites you to join us in The Commons on Saturday, April 29th at 10 AM to celebrate with Anna as she anticipates the birth of her and Jesse’s first child!

You can access their registry at Gift Giver Page (target.com) and Amazon: Baby Registry  .

Those who would like to contribute to a group gift can contact Danielle Criss by April 22nd.

Showers are a ministry intended to bless the women who are members of Countryside as they enter into this new season of life through their first marriage or first child.  (We invite ALL women of ALL ages to join us, regardless if you know Anna to “rejoice with those who rejoice” as she enters this exciting season of life.

Continued Need for Children’s Ministry Volunteers:

As we approach the move to two services I am very pleased with the number of volunteers that have stepped forward to serve in our children’s ministries.  As of today we continue to have a few needs that have not yet been met.  In order to meet these shortfalls we are changing the volunteer policy just a bit as follows.

If you volunteered to work for one week per month in the nursery, you may also volunteer to serve in a Sunday school class as teacher or helper.

If you volunteered to work for one week per month in the nursery, you may also serve as a teacher or helper in CHOW.

You may not serve in both Sunday school and CHOW but need to choose one or the other.

If you are currently serving on one of the CHOW or Sunday School teams and would like to serve for one week per month in the nursery you may do so.

To volunteer for Nursery, please contact Stephanie Craven.

To volunteer for Sunday School, please contact Sonia Crim.

To volunteer for CHOW, please contact David Smith.

Thank you for serving our parents and children in this way.

Pastor Bryan

Pray for Yosimar & Paula this week as their family visits the Warnes in Mochicahui and considers the possibility of coming to serve the Lord in Sinaloa.

New in the Resource Center

To the Christians in Rome, the Apostle Paul wrote, “I am eager to preach the gospel to you who are at Rome” (Romans 1:15). Evidently, Christians need to hear the gospel even after conversion. A Gospel Primer for Christians is designed to do just that. Use this book to preach the gospel to yourself on a daily basis, and be amazed at the difference it can make in your life!

Promotion Sunday March 26th

In conjunction with the move to two services and in order to add the confusion of a second move in June, we will be promoting to new children’s ministry classes on Sunday March 26th.  Below is a layout of how promotion Sunday will work.  We will revert back to promotion Sunday being the first Sunday in June in 2024.  Once again this change is for this year only.  This email is somewhat lengthy, so please read it all.

Nursery:  Because the nursery is tied to development and toilet training, signs will be posted to help determine where each child from infant to three years old should attend for Nursery:  Specific questions can be sent to Stephanie Craven, our Nursery coordinator.

Sunday School: The following is how the classes will be laid out and which rooms each class will meet in.  Children will be in these classes while their parents are attending one of the modular adult Sunday school classes.

Children ages 2 to 3 will meet for a Sunday school class for the 9 o’clock service only in room 7.

Children who will be ages 4 to 5 by August 15, 2023 will meet in the 4 to 5 year old class in room 6.

Children who will be ages 6 t0 7 by August 15, 2023 will meet in the 6 and 7 year old class in room 5.

Children who will be ages 8 to 9 by August 15, 2023 will meet in the 8 to 9 year old class in room 4.

Children who will be ages 10 – 11 by August 15, 2023 will meet in the 10 to 11 year old class in room 3.

Youth who will be 12 or older by August 15th, 2023 will meet in the Student ministries class in the 9 o’clock hour in room 12.

CHOW: Children who will be 3 to 5 years old by August 15, 2023 and are toilet trained will meet for CHOW in room 1.  While their parents are attending the Worship service in the main auditorium.

SUNDAY EVENING MINISTRIES:

Nursery will be as it is currently staffed if we can secure the needed volunteers.

Power Pups:  This ministry serves children who will be 3 to 5 years old by August 15, 2023.  This ministry will meet in room 6 in the evening if we can secure a volunteer to lead the ministry.  Pastor Bryan is currently seeking a volunteer or volunteers to lead this ministry.

Power Pack:  This age group will change beginning March 26th.  If your child will be 6 to 8 years old by August 15, 2023 they will attend Power Pack in the East half of the commons in the evening service.

JYG:  This age group will expand to capture those children who will be 9 to 11 by August 15th, 2023.  This ministry will meet in room 12.

Youth Group:  Children who will be 12 and up by August 15, 2023 will attend the youth group on Sunday evenings in the West half of the Commons.

Please contact Pastor Bryan Neal via email, neal@cside.org, if you have any questions or need more clarification.
