Sunday School

Join us Sundays at 9:00 AM as we gather in smaller groups for Biblical teaching. We offer a general teaching session and classes for children, youth, young adults, and ladies.

Sunday Worship

Our Sunday morning service consists of corporate worship through music, the public reading of Scripture, and verse-by-verse exposition from God’s Word. Children are invited to participate in Children’s Hour of Worship (CHOW).

Small Groups

We meet regularly in home-based groups “to stir up one another to love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24). These are the context in which the body of Christ can practically care for one another.

Our Vision

Glorify God by participating in His mission of making disciples of all nations

We are guided by the Great Commission given in Matthew 28:16-20. We seek to be biblical in all we do, view people as a priority, use ministries to mature believers and evangelize the lost, and reproduce Christlike disciples, spiritual leaders, and biblical churches.

Encouraged Hearts

Our Women’s Ministry hosts a quarterly gathering we call Encouraged Hearts. Our next gathering is Saturday, January 30, 9:30-11:30am, and we invite all women age 16 and up to join us that morning in The Commons!

Our current theme for Encouraged Hearts is “Created in the Image of God.” It is based on Romans 11:36, which says

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

We’ve been learning how our identity comes from, through, and is to be to God. At this upcoming gathering, Sharon Garrison will help us focus on “through him” as she speaks on finding our identity through our God-given roles as women in various stages of life. We also look forward to a fun ice breaker, a time of singing, and a personal testimony from Natalie Hensarling.

We hope you’ll come grow with us, make a new friend, and encourage one another in the Lord!

Pray for Mexico

Pray for Tony De La Cruz as he continues Expositor’s Institute studies and ongoing teaching and discipleship ministries, showing signs of probable pastoral calling.

CHOW Needs your Help!

The Children’s Hour Of Worship ministry needs volunteers to serve one Sunday a month during the morning worship service. Anyone who is a member of Countryside or the teenage child of a member may help. Both Little CHOW (ages 3 to 6) and Big CHOW (ages 7 and up) need helpers. Please contact Tommy Trendel or David Smith for more info.

Service Opportunity Still Available!

We have a few openings left for women who are members of Countryside — and a few openings for teen helpers — to volunteer one (or more) Friday morning(s) to work in the nursery. If you love children and can come to church any one (or more) Friday morning between January 15 and April 2, would you please prayerfully consider serving the Lord in this way? Your care for the young children (birth-age 5) enables their mothers to pursue spiritual growth and fellowship with other women who attend the Bible study class that meets from 10 to 11:30 on Friday mornings.

Cheryl Frisch, child care coordinator for our women’s Bible study, would love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.

KC Regionals

Please join us for the 6th Annual KC Regionals Bible Quiz Tournament March 12-13, 2021 at Countryside.

The entire church will be in use from Friday Noon through 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

Please contact Richard Dietzel with questions.

Spring Bible Institute

The Spring Bible Institute begins Monday, January 25th. Our topic this semester will be Developing a Chrsitian Worldview. We will examine why and what we think and how to bring our thinking in line with the reality presented in scripture in order to engage with others who hold a different worldview. This will be a timely study with all that is happening in the world today. We will meet Monday’s from 6:30-8:00 and the semester will last 10 weeks. Please contact Pastor Otto (skoog@cside.org) if you have any other questions and register at this link.
