Children & Youth Ministries

Young people are the next generation of our church, community, and nation. Countryside seeks to teach youth from the Bible and provide a culture of spiritual growth so they can learn to navigate life's challenges with Biblical truth.

At Countryside, we are dedicated to guiding and empowering our children and youth on their spiritual journey through impactful Bible teaching, camps, and a number of engaging activities. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where young people can grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of the Bible, and forge meaningful relationships with fellow believers.

Through our dedicated team of passionate leaders, we provide a range of teaching opportunities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our youth. From interactive Bible studies and discussion groups to thought-provoking sermons and classes, we strive to make the Word of God relevant and applicable to their everyday lives. Our carefully-crafted camps offer a unique blend of adventure, fun, and spiritual growth, where young attendees can experience transformative encounters with God and form lifelong friendships. Come join us as we embark on an exciting journey of faith together!

Children’s Hour of Worship (CHOW)

Children’s Church

On Sunday morning, children ages 3-6 can participate in their own special Children’s Hour of Worship (CHOW) during the worship service. This special time of teaching is designed to help them receive a well-balanced diet from God’s Word. Ask a greeter to direct you to the CHOW classroom if you are unsure where to go.

Sunday Evening Services

Power Pups

Power Pups is a class for 3 to 5 year-olds.  We work on memorizing the books of the Bible through singing and written lessons. We teach the same lessons as Power Pack each week, but with a narrower scope.

Power Pack

Children 6-9 years old are welcome to join us for a class based on the truth of Romans 1:16. This is an original kids’ club developed by Countryside.

Junior Youth Group (JYG)

5th and 6th grade ghildren are invited to JYG which offers a smooth transition from Power Pack to the Youth Group. Through personal Bible study and Biblical instruction, children are encouraged in their spiritual growth and provided practical Biblical application for issues they can relate to their daily lives.

Helping to Shape Teens’ Futures

Youth Group

We value the opportunity to help shape and mold teens in a Biblical manner during this crucial and special stage of life. Our goal is to see teens drawn to Christ, conformed to Christ, and commit their lives to serving Christ. We therefore see our youth ministry as an extension of the larger ministry at Countryside. Through weekly youth meetings, Sunday morning classes, Bible studies, retreats, discipleship, and service opportunities, we seek for junior high and high school aged young people to grow in a personal walk with Christ. Our youth participate in monthly activities and also meet on Sunday nights after the family portion of our service for worship, discussion, teaching, and fellowship.

Junior Camp

Each summer, Countryside hosts Junior Camp for those entering grades 3 through 6. It is filled with incredible activities, joyful music, and dynamic preaching from God’s Word. Our hope is that this will be a spiritually challenging and encouraging time for our Countryside youth. Junior Camp is run and staffed by Countryside members and overseen by Pastor Bryan Neal.

Teen Camp

Countryside also offers a Teen Camp each summer for those entering grades 7 through 12. Like Junior Camp, it is a fun-filled week of activities, worship, and Bible study which is intended to be spiritually challenging and encouraging to our Countryside teens. Pastor Philip Johnson oversees Teen Camp, which is also staffed by Countryside members.
