Women's Ministries
Countryside seeks to disciple one another to know Christ more and be more like Him. We do this through Bible studies, retreats, counseling, and ministry opportunities.Women play a pivotal role in the life of our church and the broader community. Our women’s ministries are dedicated to providing a space for women to grow spiritually, find fellowship, and serve others.
At Countryside, we prioritize the study of Scripture as the foundation for our lives. Through our women’s ministries, we offer dynamic Bible studies that empower women of all ages and backgrounds to deepen their understanding of God’s Word. These studies equip women with the wisdom and discernment needed to navigate life’s challenges and foster a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
In addition to Bible study, we provide ministry opportunities for women to utilize their God-given gifts and talents to make a positive impact. Whether it’s through outreach programs, community service initiatives, or missions projects, we encourage women to serve their families, neighborhoods, and the world for Christ. We also organize retreats and gatherings where women can find spiritual refreshment, build deeper friendships, and experience the transformative power of God’s Word. Furthermore, we offer counseling services to provide support, guidance, and healing for women facing personal struggles, navigating relational challenges, or seeking spiritual direction.

A Heart that Fears the Lord
Encouraged Hearts
Countryside hosts quarterly fellowships for women which we call “Encouraged Hearts.” At these gatherings, women ages 16 and older come together to learn and share through a variety of formats that may include testimonies, teaching, singing, small groups, prayer, or panel discussions — all focused on the Word of God. It’s a wonderful way to get to know other women in all seasons of life and look for opportunities to encourage and build relationships.
We are currently exploring the riches of Scripture under the theme “A Heart that Fears the Lord.” We hope you’ll join us during our upcoming gatherings as we focus on Psalm 86:11: “Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.”
Practical Help for Life’s Challenges
Biblical Counseling
Scripture is “breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). At Countryside, we believe the Bible is the foundation of life and has all the answers we need. Yet, there are times when it can be difficult to understand what the Bible says about something we are facing.
To help move past these challenges, our pastors and certified Biblical counselors in our body provide free Biblical counseling services to those who attend Countryside. Contact us if you would like help in this area.
Becoming Women of the Word
Women’s Bible Study
It’s important for women to know Scripture because it forms the foundation for our lives. Countryside seeks to offer a variety of rich, edifying studies that will benefit women of all ages and stages of life.
Our first Bible study of 2023 was The Merciful God Who Saves: A Study of Jonah, written by Countryside’s Ladies’ Institute.
Ladies Sunday School
We offer a Bible study on Sunday mornings for ladies to grow together in our knowledge of God’s Word. This class meets at 10:45am in Rooms 11-12 and is designed to engage women in discussion and Bible study.
Flourish
Once a year, the women of Countryside and invited guests come together for a time of learning and talking. The evening is filled with a delightful blend of engaging workshops, speakers, and interactive activities. From insightful discussions to creative expression through art, Flourish provides a sanctuary for women to connect, learn, and thrive.
